Walk & Talk – course & walks only
Our most popular Spanish course!
You will have four 50-minute Spanish lessons each morning at our small and friendly school. We cater for all levels of ability and can focus on the Spanish subjects you prefer. In the afternoons we go off to the Picos de Europa National Park and its surroundings, or to the stunning Costa Verde. Here you will use your Spanish and see the amazing landscapes and wildlife. The walks vary from week to week and throughout the year. We usually see vultures, kites and eagles and possibly some of the more rare birds and flora. We know the area and so we will take you off the beaten track. Some of the routes can be steep (it is the Picos de Europa!). However if you are happy walking about 10km in the hills you will have a great time. Please note that this itinerary can be flipped so you can be walking in the morning and in class in the afternoons.
This course runs every week from Monday to Friday. Weekends are free for you to explore the area on your own. The price includes:
Spanish intensive course with a maximum of 4 people, with enrolment, materials, level test if appropriate, notebook and pen.
Complimentary coffee, tea and biscuits during the lessons’ breaks.
Guided walks, Monday to Thursday.
Guided ecotourism day out on Friday.
Transport in the area to and from walk destinations, as well as from Panes to school in Abándames is needed.

If you were to be on your own on any given week, you would have 2 individual lessons per day and the Friday day out would consist of a visit to the Foundation for the Conservation of the Bearded Vulture (FCQ), a birdwatching gentle walk, a visit to Vega de Ario Cheesemakers (with cheese and cider tasting) a picnic lunch and a visit to the lively village of Cangas de Onís.
Friday evening: Farewell drink.
Please ask us for prices if you would like to study for more than 1 week.
